Here is what our users say about us
I am so much more productive with Java, JPA and Spring (and JRebel) than i was with RoR the last months… It's really fun again.
Stopping and start my container 10 times a day is the most annoying thing in the Java world. Finally I hope I have found the solution with JRebel.
Setting up JRebel was completely painless and my questions on the support forum were answered quickly. The performance gains were immediately obvious to us, so after the evaluation period was over we decided to purchase licenses for all our developers.
We found it very useful to dig into the SQL queries. We quickly found some very lengthy and complicated queries. We also found that our session can get as large as 30 Mb - we had too many references to Spring beans in the session.
JRebel is easy to use right out of the box and fun to work with. It saves a lot of time in the development phase!
I just hated the whole Eclipse IDE and one of my co-workers suggested I try Jrebel since 40% of my time was waiting on Eclipse to build and run. With Jrebel, things are going much smoothly now.
Given the nominal cost of JRebel and the huge amounts of time it saves, I would not consider developing Java EE applications without it.
I like the way [JRebel monitors] the file system for changes and smartly reloads Java changes into Hot Swap/Hot code memory. It just eliminated by build time during development by 90%.
Over the last 78 days, JRebel prevented at least 1774 redeploys/restarts, saving about 71.9 hours!
Life without JRebel is no fun...
Been using JRebel (http://jrebel.com/) for around 10 minutes now.. Feels like I have saved 11 minutes of redeploying time
Since migrating to IBM WAS 7.0, we've had trouble with replacing HotCode - we're now using JRebel for uninterrupted development and it's working fine :)
