JRebel is really great - it helped our team save a lot of hours!
Life without JRebel is no fun...
Working with JBoss, Seam, JSF and the Eclipse JBoss Tools...It's very painful. I had read about JRebel a couple of times on theserverside.com and javalobby and decided to give it a try. It works great.
Since introducing JRebel to our Java development teams, we have not only seen a 30% increase productivity, but also a marked decrease in service requests due to software faults. Our teams can now focus 100% of their attention on development without being hindered by the J2EE cycle Build and Redeploy steps.
Jrebel is pretty much well known but I never really considered trying & buying it because most of my projects were not so complex. Now I have a much bigger project and applying code changes becomes more difficult so I decided to give JRebel a try. So far, trial version worked perfectly.
Since migrating to IBM WAS 7.0, we've had trouble with replacing HotCode - we're now using JRebel for uninterrupted development and it's working fine :)
The developers at BlackBeltFactory.com use JRebel and although I probably could have gotten it for free from the ZT guys, I wanted to pay for this fantastic product.
Given the nominal cost of JRebel and the huge amounts of time it saves, I would not consider developing Java EE applications without it.
The time period between making a change, rebuilding, deploying and restarting the container has always been a sticking point with me, but JRebel allows me to develop constantly without bouncing back and forth. Personally, it's one of the more important pieces of software I've come across in quite some time.
Thank you also for JRebel, it is saving my life every day.
You mean you haven't tried JRebel already! How could you have survived this long as a Java developer without it!
For the price, and for how easy it is to get installed and running in a developers’ environment, using JRebel is pretty close to a no-brainer.
