Project compiles but fails to install because target-apk is already in use by another process.
Windows Resource-Monitor says that the process currently blocking the apk is a “java.exe” aka the gradle build process.
Is this a known issue? Is there something I can do about it?
I am using the gradle-wrapper and Android-Studio.
I’ve verified that the issue is coming from Dexcount Gradle Plugin not working together with JRebel for Android. We will look into it and I’ll let you know as soon as we have any news.
I would suggest to create another build variant for running with JRebel for Android that does not include Dexcount Gradle Plugin.
— FIXED FOR ME —
De-Activating the dexcount plugin did the job.
