vJUG session with Arun Gupta: “WebSocket Applications using Java EE 7”

WebSockets are arguably the biggest addition in Java EE 7. Arun Gupta, RedHat Director of Developer Advocacy (formally Oracle), gives an expert walk through of the feature, including how to use the functionality via annotations as well as programatically. Arun explains how WebSockets differs from how regular HTTP communication was done previously in Java and why WebSockets are so much more performant. Arun, as usual, gives a concise, expert presentation providing great knowledge for the audience, with code examples to show how you actually use WebSockets.
