JRebel 6.1.1 Released!

JRebel 6.1.1 is now available for download! This updated version includes support for Spring Boot actuator endpoints and the @SchemaValidation annotation for Metro, try them out! This release includes bug fixes with the JDeveloper IDE plugin, users should have a smoother experience with it now. We also have updated support for several application servers, including:

  • Tomcat 7.0.59
  • Jetty 9.2.9
  • Google App Engine 1.9.18
  • Resin 4.0.42

For those of you with lots of data in your in-memory databases, we have good news as well. We have changed the default behavior to update instead of calling create-drop when changing entity beans with Hibernate. This means you’ll still have your data in the application after modifying the entity.

For a complete breakdown of all new features and bug fixes, head over to the full changelog.

The License Server has been updated as well. We have made improvements to the reactivation process for clients with managed licenses. License Server 3.0.5 can be downloaded here.

So what is “@SchemaValidator” and “Metro”? You stumped both me and the Google.

Metro is the glass fish implementation of JAX-WS, the annotation should be schema validation not validator.
