We’re embarking on a mission to “explore the day-to-day life of IT operations and release management pros, to seek out new trends and insights, to boldly publish content packed with stats, charts and analysis like no one has seen before.”
But to do it alone? Never.
We request your expertise and power of judgement to collectively discover what IT operations and release management pros do to keep everything running like clockwork – from best practices that keep us sane, to tools we use, and challenges we face day-to-day.
Can you donate ~10min of your time towards sharing your knowledge and valuable feedback in a survey? We’re looking to develop some meaningful realizations on:
- How you spend your time – both the fun and the frustrating stuff?
- What causes IT failures and how you save the day?
- What kinds of tools, languages and infrastructure you use?
- What your software release processes look like?
Once your responses are in we will study them for hours and seek out insights of Archimedean proportions (and even run through the streets screaming ‘EUREKA’!). We look forward to sharing our findings with you in March 2013.
