This app is a maven project and, at the present moment, I have the correspondant context file under "tomcat_installation/Catalina/localhost/app.xml". In this xml the docBase att is pointing to the /app/target/app with the resulting maven building. This is my current configuration but I can't get jRebel to work. I sucessfully experimented the above configuration with the embedded tomcat server in eclipse but I can't use that set up because my "app" is a resulting war overlay and it seems that the eclipse WTP / Tomcat plugins don't deal with War overlays as expected :/. You can ignore the error. Eclipse tries to update the JVM via HotSwap but it will fail as HotSwap only supports changing method bodies. @samk
