Product Advisory Board

Product Advisory Board goal is to advise ZeroTurnaround on product development, provide feedback, act as a community representative and help to increase adoption.

  • David Booth

    David has worked in the software industry since the year 2000—doing marketing for JProbe, IntelliJ IDEA, and as the CEO of ZeroTurnaround from 2009 until early 2012. He is adept at understanding the needs of software engineers, and bringing products to market in a way that appeals to the highly-technical audience we address.

    David has taught marketing at the college level and invested his time in founding the Young Professionals Forum in Prague—a non-profit organization designed to bring students and business people together to facilitate information exchange and mentorship.

  • Jeff Genender

    Jeff Genender is a Java Champion, Apache Member and committer on multiple open source projects. He is the Founder of Savoir Technologies, a Java SOA and enterprise consulting company. He is the author of Professional Apache Tomcat 6, Professional Apache Geronimo and Enterprise Java Servlets. Jeff serves on the JSR-316 Java EE6 expert group committee.

    Jeff is an open source evangelist and successfully brought open source development efforts, initiatives, and success stories into a number of Global 2000 companies.

  • David Pollak

    David Pollak founded the Lift Web Framework open source project. Lift is an expressive and elegant framework for writing secure, scalable, interactive web applications on the Java Virtual Machine. David is a consultant in San Francisco.

    David also wrote the first real-time spreadsheet and the worlds highest performance spreadsheet engine. As CTO of CMP Media, David oversaw the first large-scale deployment of WebLogic. David was CTO and VP Engineering at Cenzic and helped define best practices for web application security testing.

  • Keith Zackrone

    Keith Zackrone is a software development leader and passionately committed to creating innovating and productive software development teams driven by a desire to excel and committed to great engineering. He has 15 years of experience working in and managing teams specializing in Java, primarily focused around Software as a Service (SaaS) and highly scalable applications.

    Keith is Director of Software Development at ADP Digital Marketing | Cobalt where he is responsible for a product development engineering group of 32 scrum teams in the U.S. and India.

  • Martijn Verburg

    “Martijn Verburg (aka “The Diabolical Developer”) is a Java/JEE and open source advocate who is passionate about software craftsmanship and the creative power of technical communities. He currently is the co-leader for the London JUG, runs two open source projects (PCGen and Ikasan EIP), is a bartender at the Javaranch and has co-authored “The Well-Grounded Java Developer”.

    Martijn regularly speaks at conferences and consults for organisations around the world from start-ups to investment banks, focussing on making Java developers happier and more productive!”
